### MOTORCYCLE RIDING IS INHERENTLY DANGEROUS
Operating a motorcycle carries significant risk of serious injury or death. No protective gear, including products sold by BOUNDBYCHROME LLC, can eliminate this risk.
### PRODUCT CLASSIFICATION
BOUNDBYCHROME offers different categories of products:
**PROTECTIVE GEAR (CE-Certified):**
- Items marked "CE-certified" or displaying CE certification labels meet European safety standards
- These items have been independently tested for abrasion resistance and impact protection
- Certification does NOT guarantee prevention of injury in a crash
**FASHION/LIFESTYLE APPAREL:**
- Items NOT marked as "CE-certified" are designed for aesthetic purposes only
- These items provide NO crash protection
- Do NOT wear fashion items as protective gear while riding
**PROTOTYPE/CONCEPT ITEMS:**
- Items marked "prototype," "concept," or "Founding Sisters Artifact" are collectible pieces
- These are NOT safety equipment
- Do NOT use for motorcycle riding

## LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

BOUNDBYCHROME LLC makes no warranty, express or implied, that our products will prevent injury or death in a motorcycle accident.
### USER RESPONSIBILITY
By purchasing and using BOUNDBYCHROME products, you acknowledge:
- You understand the risks of motorcycle riding
- You accept full responsibility for your safety
- You will inspect all gear before each use
- You will replace gear after any crash or impact
- You will not rely solely on gear for protection
### MAXIMUM LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BOUNDBYCHROME LLC's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the product.

## PROPER USE & CARE
### INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS
- Inspect gear before EVERY ride for tears, abrasion, or damage
- Replace immediately if damage is found
- Do NOT repair protective gear yourself
### AFTER A CRASH
**CRITICAL:** Any protective gear involved in a crash MUST be replaced immediately, even if no visible damage exists. Impact protection is compromised after any crash.
### CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
- Follow care instructions on product labels
- Improper cleaning may compromise protective properties
- Do NOT use harsh chemicals or bleach on protective gear
### FIT REQUIREMENTS
- Gear must fit properly to provide intended protection
- Loose gear can shift during a crash
- Refer to our sizing guide (measurements required)
- When in doubt, size up for protective gear

## CERTIFICATION STANDARDS
### CE CERTIFICATION EXPLAINED
Products displaying CE marks meet European standard EN 17092 for motorcycle protective clothing:
- **Class AAA:** Highest protection (racing/sport use)
- **Class AA:** High protection (dynamic riding)
- **Class A:** Medium protection (urban/touring)
- **Class B:** Low protection (urban, low speed)
- **Class C:** Abrasion resistance only (no impact protection)
Our product pages clearly state which class (if any) each item meets.
### U.S. REGULATIONS
Currently, the United States has no mandatory standards for motorcycle apparel (unlike helmets, which require DOT certification). CE certification is a voluntary European standard we choose to meet.
